The New Orleans band comprised of Dean Fransen, Lennie DiMartino, Jay Webb, Jeff Mills, and Chris Cortez produced only one CD. As the band's name implies it is laden with serious funky grooves. Very much in the tradition of the smooth jazz genre, the disc still reaches beyond the normal drum loop, pop fare found in that style. Incorporating soli passages, modulations, and interesting arranging ideas to create a subtle underpinning of musicality.
